So, days after the Oscars, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences announced that it had initiated disciplinary proceedings against Will Smith and while he had already resigned from the Academy, the president said in a statement that the group will continue to move forward with their disciplinary proceedings against Will for violations of the Academy’s Standards of Conduct, in advance of their next scheduled board meeting on April 18th.
