Massive Bio, which uses artificial intelligence to match cancer patients to clinical trials, launches “I Have Cancer,” a social media campaign to raise cancer awareness.
In keeping with its mission to improve the lives of cancer patients, Massive Bio aims to raise mass awareness about cancer, cancer treatments, and clinical research with “I Have Cancer,” the company’s new social media campaign. “I Have Cancer” will focus on the problems experienced by cancer patients and their loved ones while bringing attention to the importance of cancer prevention. The campaign will also provide up-to-date information about oncology clinical trials for cancer patients interested in pursuing innovative new treatments. Massive Bio, based in New York City, uses a proprietary artificial intelligence platform called SYNERGY-AI to match cancer patients to clinical trials.
“This project is very important for society,” says Erkan Terzi, Global Marketing Vice President for Massive Bio and one of the architects of the “I Have Cancer” campaign. “We have cancer awareness, but the problem is how much we understand cancer and cancer patients. Millions of people die from cancer yearly, and everyone is at risk of getting cancer. With this project, we want to raise cancer awareness, show how we can protect ourselves and our loved ones, and provide information about cancer treatments.”
“Clinical milestones include working with physicians, pharmaceutical and genomic testing providers, and hospitals, as well as our network of oncology clinical trial registration opportunities in Europe and South America,” said Çağatay Çulcuoğlu, co-founder, CFO, and COO of Massive Bio. “We have expanded our patient-engagement activities through advocacy groups, webinars, and the publication of Massive Bio magazine, which informs readers about the latest news in cancer research and clinical trials. Now, with our ‘I Have Cancer’ campaign, we aim to be the voice of patients and their families who need support and are not heard but who want to share their experiences and ideas to build a better tomorrow for future generations.”
The “I Have Cancer” campaign, which will launch in November with posts on Massive Bio’s social media channels, will emphasize the theme that cancer patients are not alone. The importance of cancer foundations and associations will also be highlighted in the campaign, carried out simultaneously on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. The campaign will use the hashtags #ihavecancer, #cancerawareness, and #massivebio to help cancer patients and their supporters make their voices heard. The campaign will continue until the end of May.

Dealerships, OEMs, media agencies, and dealer groups in Canada will be able to leverage powerful social media advertising across Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, and Snap
BURLINGTON, Ontario – November 17, 2022 – (Newswire.com)
Dealers United announced today they will be expanding their social advertising solutions into Canada for automotive dealers, OEMs, media agencies, and dealer groups.
Since 2018, Dealers United has enabled dealers to reach and convert in-market auto shoppers across Meta properties such as Facebook and Instagram. Now, the company is educating automotive dealers, Tier 2 and 3 programs, and dealer groups on how to optimize full-funnel social media advertising across Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, Snap, and more.
To spearhead the launch of these solutions into Canada, Dealers United has enlisted industry expert Kevin O’Rourke as the company’s new Vice President Country Manager, Canada. O’Rourke will lead the Canadian market expansion for both Dealers United and its BuyerBridge social adtech software.
In his previous role as Automotive Vertical Lead for Snap Canada, O’Rourke connected automotive brands with audiences in Canada on Snapchat.
“Excited to bring a real ‘specialist’ approach for social media to automotive dealers and their agencies in Canada, and not just a bolt-on afterthought,” O’Rourke said. “Social advertising in Canada has proven results, and is a significant and growing part of the auto intender’s media consumption and conversion to sales. Being able to offer a suite of services through either a fully managed or self-serve option gives Canadian dealers dedicated omni-social expertise to address their unique business challenges on all the top platforms.”
“The opportunity for the automotive community to reach and engage 80%+ of the Canadian population in a privacy safe way is untapped,” said Dealers United CEO Pete Petersen. “We are excited Kevin is leading the charge to help localize our proven methodology and technology to the Canadian market so the automotive community can unlock the opportunity on social.”

HSG Advisors, a healthcare consultancy that supports health system leaders with data intelligence to strategically improve employed physician network performance, has published a white paper in Texas Healthcare Trustees’ Governance Resources, Strategy. The publication outlines “Best Practices in Patient Attraction and Retention Growth Strategies” and was created to outline best practices for measuring, reporting, and building a comprehensive growth strategy as healthcare consumption continues to shift to a predominantly outpatient experience.
Health systems continue to operate in a predominantly fee-for-volume world while slowly transitioning towards a fee-for-value environment. Having strategies to maximize the attraction of new patients and increase retention of current patients is critical if hospitals and healthcare systems are to be successful. To survive in both volume and value-based environments, organizations are looking for best practices to develop a strategy that supports each mode of operation while ensuring patients receive proper care at the right time and location.
“True growth is going to be driven from the top down with physicians, advanced practice providers, service line leaders, inpatient and outpatient service operators, and front staff employees being the real change agents,” stated white paper author and Managing Director at HSG Advisors, DJ Sullivan. “The groups must have consistent and reliable data on referral sources, geographic opportunities and influencers, and primary and urgent care needs if they are going to be able to make decisions that will support long-term organizational goals,” Sullivan added.
Best practices for hospitals and health systems to track success in both operating environments include having access to metrics that are easy to interpret and update. By identifying the right key performance indicators, healthcare executives can better ensure that patients receive timely and informed care while meeting goals that support patient attraction and retention.
The HSG Advisors’ white paper provides an outline of the following best practices for hospitals and healthcare systems as they navigate patient attraction and retention:
