Port of Miami parking is now $28 a day or $84 for a weekend cruise or $196 for a 7 night sailing! This has me seeking more affordable options to get to the cruise terminals. If you are asking yourself “how do I get to port Miami?” you have to consider Brightline Florida’s train service especially if you live in South Florida.
I decided to take Brightline from Fort Lauderdale train station to Brightline Miami Central Station to board Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas for a 7 Night sailing. Another reason I wanted to try Brightline, is it is now offering Brightline+ which is a service providing transportation to and from the train stations (ie: my house to Fort Lauderdale Station)
I will walk you through my experience with taking the train to the Miami cruise terminal via Brightline and let you know if the train is a good fit for cruise passengers looking to save money.
If you are looking for the Ryal Caribbean Cruise Terminal at Port Miami, it is located at Cruise Terminal A or the Crown of Miami at 2000 N Cruise Blvd, Miami, FL. When using Uber or ride share, ensure you pick the correct location and follow signage at the port!
