Fulton Books author Ken Kidd, a Vietnam-era Air Force veteran who has had experience in a variety of fields since being honorably discharged, has completed his most recent book “Ted (A Green Iguana)”: a charming children’s story that introduces Ted, a green iguana who lives near the beach in the small fishing village of San Alejo in Ecuador, South America.
Ted seems to be in great distress when a young man runs across him while walking along the beach one morning. The young man asks Ted what is wrong and discovers that Ted’s mate is trapped and in need of assistance.
Author Ken Kidd has been a waiter, bartender, police officer, private investigator, car salesman, insurance salesman, airline representative, computer tech support agent, and actor. He spent three years in Ecuador where he met his little green friend, Ted, and decided to humanize him with a poem. Ken currently lives in Florida with his wife, Lyndell, two dogs, and six chickens.
Published by Fulton Books, Ken Kidd’s book is written in engaging poetry, making it easy to follow for young readers and listeners. Colorful illustrations bring this heartwarming tale to life as Ted and his new friend work together to try to help his mate.
Readers who wish to experience this creative work can purchase “Ted (A Green Iguana)” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
